Description
The German Medical Red Microfibre Yarn Cover is manufactured in the EEC and developed for demanding professional cleaning tasks. The yarn mixture consists of 100% polyester with a high filament content, which ensures very high surface performance and optimal cross-linking of cleaning and disinfecting agents. The yarn colour is red-white and supports clear area allocation through integrated four-colour coding in blue, green, yellow, and red.
The cover sheet is made from a balanced blend of 50% fine cotton and 50% polyester. This composition is recommended to achieve optimum absorbency. The edging tape is produced from 100% polyester in white and supports durability during intensive use. The bag material is also made of 100% polyester and is reinforced with a sponge insert. This design improves the gliding of the holder and ensures smooth handling during cleaning operations. The pockets are tear-resistant and water-permeable, which contributes to reliable daily use.
The microfibre yarn cover delivers excellent dirt and water absorption and offers very good gliding properties for fatigue-free work. The special tufting process firmly anchors the loops in the cover sheet, resulting in above-average service life. The high proportion of continuous filaments enhances cleaning efficiency and supports consistent performance across large surface areas.
The mop cover can be used both dry and wet on smooth, coated, and uncoated floor coverings. It is suitable for maintenance cleaning as well as wet and dry cleaning of elastic coverings, hard coverings, porcelain stoneware, stone floors, tiles, laminate floors, and smooth or porous surfaces. The product is particularly suitable for healthcare environments, clinics, retirement and nursing homes, public facilities, and professional building cleaning.
Washing before first use is recommended. A washing temperature of 60 °C is advised, while the maximum washing temperature of 95 °C must not be exceeded. Fabric softeners and bleaching agents should be avoided. Washing should be done with unmixed fabrics only. Drying temperatures should not exceed 80 °C.
The German Medical Red Microfibre Yarn Cover is available in sizes of 40 cm and 50 cm. The approximate weights are 130 g for the 40 cm version and 160 g for the 50 cm version. Packaging units include 75 pieces for the 40 cm size and 50 pieces for the 50 cm size. The article numbers are MED40RO and MED50RO.
